ADS, 1786 July 7 : New Castle County, Delaware.

Signer of the Constitution from Delaware, Broom writes the following: "Forasmuch as James Davis Yeoman hath personally come before me ... and hath taken his corporal oath that Thomas Williams and Alexander Patten ... have assaulted and beaten him ... these are therefore ... to command you forthwith to apprehend the said Thomas Williams and Alexander Patten and bring them before me ..."
